My therapeutic approach

Person-Centred

The person-centred approach places you at the centre of the therapeutic process. It emphasises empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuine support. By creating a non-judgmental and accepting environment, I aim to facilitate a space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions openly.

Integrative

An integrative approach means I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques to tailor our sessions to your specific needs. This flexibility allows us to address issues from multiple angles, ensuring a comprehensive and effective therapeutic experience.

My integrative approach is formulated from previous training in person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, as well as narrative and creative therapies. I also utilise a variety of other interventions based on my clients needs, including mindfulness practice and Christian-based counselling.

We will work with your mind rather than against it, fostering a path towards self-awareness, resilience, and positive change. My goal is to empower you to navigate life's challenges with confidence and to build a fulfilling, balanced life.
